Mission

Shares, Inc. provides service and support for people with disabilities to enhance their successful inclusion in the community.

Background

Shares, Inc. is proud to be a unique not-for-profit operation that employs people with disabilities from throughout Central Indiana. Qualified supervisors oversee all our projects and we go to great lengths to maintain our excellent quality record. Our three plants provide supportive learning environments for our employees to grow and become valuable members of today's competitive workforce. Also, as a not-for-profit company, our customers can take pride in knowing that our revenues funnel right back into our Central Indiana community through the various services we offer.

Shares, Inc. is CARF Accredited

The Shares, Inc. Hegel Industries Plant III is now ISO 9001:2000 Certified.

Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Shares, Inc. that all persons with disabilities are entitled to the same opportunities to continue their growth and maximize their individual potential so that they are better able to live in and enjoy their community. By providing systematic training and exposure to all types of life experiences, persons with disabilities can become less dependent on other people and function to their full potential in society.
