Shares, Inc. community employment services staff, known as employment specialists, work with Central Indiana companies to help place special needs employees in the workforce. Our employment specialists spend many hours coordinating, researching and communicating with those involved to assure a successful job placement that will be beneficial to both employer and employee.
Our employment services provide businesses and the community with assistance on modifying or eliminating barriers to employment for persons with disabilities. All Community Employment Services provided by Shares, Inc. are to no cost to employers. Our job matching services include:
Job Coaching
Shares, Inc. employment specialists, are provided at no cost to employers. Their role is to assist persons with disabilities who may need additional training and coaching. Our specialists will continuously check in with employers and employees to verify job matching was successful.
Community Employment + Shares, Inc. Services = Successful Job Match
Job Carving
Employment specialists help create several challenging positions by "carving" part of a job to satisfy the needs of the employer as well as the employee with a disability.
Job Sharing
Employment specialists may identify two persons with disabilities who are interested in combining their efforts in the completion of one job.
